Happy Friday Beautiful People!
We are here again. I had today off so it gave me some time to catch up on some sleep and not be so tired. I am definitely still tired but I am very happy to not be in work. I am about to sit down and put on a movie and eat some pizza by myself. I mean that is pretty great. A little bit of me time. For today’s doodle is a little doodle I did on the computer.
A little Ghost doodle.
Good news for the week:
A startup travel company in the UK called Trainhugger has implemented a green initiative to encourage people to travel by train as opposed to using their cars. They have pledged to plant a tree for every train ticket booked through their platform and their fare costs are in line with those of their competitors. A third of the company's overall profits are also put towards tree planting. Regular bookers can track how many trees have been planted thanks to their travel.
The Mission Statement on the Trainhugger website reads: "To plant millions of healthy, resilient trees in the UK and support sustainable travel and tourism.
"In partnership with the Royal Forestry Society and the Royal Scottish Forestry Society, we’re creating a network of diverse, climate resilient woodlands across the country. These trees will protect wildlife, clean the air and support a local, sustainable timber industry that provides green jobs and valuable skills."
Song Of The Day:
This makes me dance every time.
